The web hosting industry as a whole is a very competitive industry.  That said, you may have noticed that many web hosts will make unbelievable offers that seem too good to be true.  In most cases, that is exactly true.  There is no such thing as “unlimited data and unlimited bandwidth”.  When a web host offers that, what they are really saying is “use our servers as much as you want, and if it become too much of a burden for us, we’ll just terminate your service”.

It’s very possible that most hosting clients do not use anywhere near the limits of the hosting account they pay for, and therefor offering large, unrealistic limits is simply a matter of marketing.

What you will find with our offerings is more realistic limits of both storage and bandwidth.  It may not look as flashy as “UNLIMITED EVERYTHING”, but we will be happy to help you decide if your hosting needs will fit within the limitations we offer.  We can tell you upfront that if you think you’ll be launching the next Angry Birds, then you’ll require a much bigger hosting solution.  Some of you may remember what happened to the BuzzTouch servers when one of the member’s apps found itself on the top of it’s genre’s charts.  That was probably one of the motivating factors leading to BuzzTouch developing the Self-Hosted BuzzTouch Server.
